No real excuses, just downright lazy !!

Re your query about keeping mixed poultry in the same enclosure...I think I've already told you why you cant keep turkeys and chooks together ??? But guinea fowl are OK with the chickens. Quail and pheasant FLY so their yard needs to be netted overhead.

Today, via a blog that I follow, I found a site on-line that might interest you. It is "ANDY VARDEY'S BACKYARD POULTRY" He has a Q&A column where you can ask advice from an expert. Do a GOOGLE search on pages from Australia. I dont mind to give advice but I'm no expert, just learned from years of experience with poultry.

Great news about your GREAT WALL. Our great wall will the same this time next year as it is today, I'm sure. Its taken 5 years so far so I'm not holding my breath. :-)

Cheers, "Olive" (aka Joy)Olivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14389835614289815501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763732887715662168.post-77953436697650988862009-12-01T21:31:52.727+10:002009-12-01T21:31:52.727+10:00Hi Marcella....Hurray..the wall is finished :-)Wil...Hi Marcella....Hurray..the wall is finished :-)Will send photos soon.
Hi Ritchie...Thankyou for naming them....they have finished flowering now but at least I now know what they are called :-)
Hi Olive....No I didn't receive the answer to my poultry question. I will drop you a line and ask again. Thanks.
Hi Mariana.....Lovely to have you back. I am sure that Mitch and Maxi will feel the same connection if they feel it now. It doesn't go away...just builds with time, but like all friendships it does need to be nurtured. I will eventually get around to photographing the Great Wall soon.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17920625648908748173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763732887715662168.post-14274277229253610922009-11-24T10:45:48.196+10:002009-11-24T10:45:48.196+10:00Hello dear Linda. I hope you can indeed smell the roses and hear the birds singing now. Sounds divine.

I loved hearing about your lifelong friend. What a connection to have and to feel so comfortable even after not seeing each other for so long. It's what a real friend is after all. I kinda hope my son Mitch and his German buddy Maxi shall share the same lifelong connection even though they are continents apart. Your post made me think it is possible.

Can't wait to hear all about the great wall of bellavista. I'm a little "loopy" sometimes and i remember I had half written it and the phone rang. You know how it goes....long conversation....Its just that i dont see it here and I wonder what happened. Its Ok if you have removed it, I just dont want you to think I've ignored you.
Take care. You don't want to speed up the ageing process. If the deer haven't left you any roses to smell then stop and buy a bunch!
